Loading the page
Do this from the Open account button inside LotsBack, so the account is opened through the partner link and Star Trader credits it to LotsBack. The button opens the broker in a new tab; keep this page open beside it.
Cashback is an estimate until your broker verifies it and the week is released. Cashback terms.
The partner link opens the broker's account form. Fill it in with the details on your ID: name, email, phone, country. Use the same email you use for LotsBack if you can; it makes support simpler.
Star Trader emails you a verification link or code. Confirm it, then sign in to the broker's client portal.
Upload a photo of your ID and a proof of address. This is the slow part: some approvals take minutes, others a working day. You can carry on with the next step while you wait.
In the broker's client portal, open a new live trading account and choose the settings below. The account currency is your choice; cashback is paid in USDT or USDC whatever the currency.
Star Trader emails the new account's details and shows them under the account in the broker's client portal. You need three of them for LotsBack. If no investor password was given, set one under the account's password settings. It is the read-only password; LotsBack cannot trade with it.
No investor password in the email, or it does not work? Set one in the MetaTrader 5 app: Settings → your account → Change Password → Investor (read only).
How do I get my investor password?Fund the account from Deposit in the broker's client portal. Cashback needs closed trades, not deposits, so this can wait until you want to trade.
Return to the LotsBack tab. Connect your account is already waiting on this broker — enter the details above and press Connect and start. Part 3 below shows the form.
Back in the LotsBack tab, Connect your account is already waiting on the broker you opened. Nothing is recorded yet: the account exists the moment it really connects. If the broker has not sent your details, close the tab and come back later — the same screen is here next time.

Terms and conditions is the last screen, and everything is on it. Tick every box and press Okay, I'm good; the dashboard opens. Nothing asks for a payout address on the way in — you add one when you make your first withdrawal.

The card shows the last sync time and the number of trades read. The first import runs within the hour. From then on the dashboard shows each closed trade and its estimate.
